SIZED TEMPLATES

im getting a dremmel tool for x-mas and decided to make a nice pick set. ive gone through the forums and downloaded all the pictures i could find and used the size of my southord set to make sized templates of all the picks ive found. but i havent been able to find the size for warded picks. if u have any pictures of some next to rulers or just can measure some of your own it would really help. i will be posting the templates in correct size within the week so check back or pm me if your impatient like me.

good idea. it would be nice to have the sized templates all in one spot unfortunately I can't help you with the warded picks.

im still working on others like the falle and bogatas, and the sfic tnesion wrench is not to size but the measurements are there.

if for some reason when u download it it isnt to size, just adjust it so the picks are 12cm long and .75 wide

So, let me see if I have this right....

You tore apart somone elses scanned image of their picks, changed it around some, didn't correct the problems like the bent hook, added a really bad image of the Peterson Reach pick, managed to find my images of the warded picks, but neglected to include the measurements, and then slapped them up and didn't bother to give any credit?

Do I have it right, or did I leave something out?

As for the warded picks, this is the image of the hand drawn picks at their proper size. As for the rest of the picks and sizes, just do a search for templates. You should find more than you bargined for, including mine that have been properly drawn and sized.

this is just a page of templates i got from different threads for a set im building. i resized some of them to actual size and figured if im makign it anyway i might as well post it for anyone else who wants some templates. i never claimed to invent the warded pick

credit is needed where credit is due though.

i personally have a *large* assortment of templates and pics and layouts and about 2gb of stuff that i gladly share with anyone wanting it.... that proves worthy..... (aka....no being a smacktard)

pm for details, id post it, but there is WAAAAAAY too much, and i dont know whos it is and i dont want to insult ANY of our finer members here....

Please understand that I have no problems with anyone using my templates, downloading them, turning them around, or in general just doing what they want.

However, I am reasonably protective of my work in such a way that when I spend time at something trying to make it the best I can, I would like to see that credit mentioned.

I do my best to provide credit to others when it is due. You will note that the original images of teh King and Queen are credited to SAK, but the redrawn and properly sized templates are my work, and everything else is a dirivative work from the original Sak templates, or from my own redrawn templates.

I just want to see proper credit go to anyone who has created something. I feel so strongly about this that I haven't included a Bogota template using standard handles because I have not as yet received permission from Raimundo for this.

I still hope to be able to include Bogota style picks in my set when they become available using standard pick handles, and the bogota tip design. However, they will NOT be included in any of my sets unless I receive that permission from Raimundo.

The Bogota picks have proven themselves beyond the shadow of a doubt, and as such, they represent a great asset to their creator. While Raimundo has provided the techniques, and the permission for hobbiests to make them, he has not indicated that anyone else can make a similar pick for sale. I respect that greatly, and hope that you can understand why I would like for everyone to get credit for any work that they have done.
