I need some recommendations on maybe a couple of the best books to start with.
I have looked around bookshops, but have found nothing on the subject, and I really don't want to blindly order online without some recomendations.

Any other good books? I will probably get " locks safe and security at some point, but it is rather expensive......

Locksmithing, by Bill Phillips is a good book and might be at your library. It is a good book to start with, and reasonably priced, if you want to purchase

I was looking at getting locks, safes and security, and was wondering where to get the supplemental electronic CD collection that accompanies it.

Everything for LSS and LSS+ is available through [url]security.org[/url] proceed from there.
I would recomend that you invest in some other materials before this book. Despite its expense, it is an excellent reference and certainly worth having. However, there are a number of excellent books on the topic that will occupy you for some time, and cover situations that are not mentioned in LSS.
