Do you polish your new picks?

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Honestly, I was shocked by how smoothly LN21's picks moved through my locks

I polished the handle... but i wouldn't suggest it to hard to grip looks cool though

ive been making a new set and after cutting and grinding and filing i useda fine grit polishing stone, then a hard felt tip attachment for my dremel with polishing compund

not quite done yet but its pretty smooth
"you cant just grind a hacksaw blade down and expect to pick locks with it" quote from my friend in the 10th grade when i first tried picking a lock
