Hey,

I bought a 'Maximum Security' padlock from Ace Hardware. I am pretty sure it is made by American. Same type of key, and the internals are identical except that this Ace lock has four serrated spool pins. I paid $16 for it. Is this any savings over buying an American?

Nice stuff.

"Gots a question" for everyone, if i were to show a breakdown of how my Tigon lock worked, would i be allowed to in the open forums. (same idea as the abloy?)

Adahuah.

(Its really a break down to show how it is made inside seeing as i took a grinder and dremel to it... not a pretty site... lets just say i had to put it under water to cool down enough to handle when i was done.)

Just a show how it looks inside and how it works.

depends on what type of material it is made out of but im sure its a decent lock... i bought my lock for cheap at a local discount store. im not sure what retail on it is. does your lock have serrated lower pins also?
