They get my vote as # 1

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

They get my vote as # 1

I just received my set of Falle picks, and I must say, other than a few rough edges. I think it is an excellent set. Just for the variety ( 3 types ) of tension tools, this set is worth the money......
I certainly could not be happier with a set of picks, the one complaint about the duplication of picks, yes this is true there are duplicates, but the duplicates are the predominant picks that would see daily use.
I have the utmost respect for the design, and functionality of these tools. The only other set I would probably consider would be the hope set with the addition of a couple of extra tools.

For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!

Man you need to stop spamming, it will make you go blind.

Good news about the Falle set - I used the slimline hooks as first choice. I hope you enjoy them man!

Tell us how you find the dual pronged wrenches mate. :)

You have a point about the wrenches

Postby gostone » 9 Dec 2006 8:59

I do like the wrenches, and in some cases they are excellent, but more often than not I still use the L wrenches. The Falle wrenches do tend to be finicky, particularly on keyholes with deep recesses.

Those are my thoughts in regards to them, to be honest. :)

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying your set though, and you'll have fun using the double pronged wrenches when they fit properly in a key way. :)

Just to add the fixed wrenches you will find the same size, this is because its intended that you file them to fit a specific keyway
