Master Lock NO.130

Postby hellfire911 » 9 Dec 2006 11:06

hey guys I just got my set of southord picks yesterday and i have a master lock no.130 i've been trying to pick all week (with paperclips) i've had no luck. but last night i opened it with a standart twisty tension wrench and a half diamond, a half ball, and a standard rake [i think it's called that] I just wan't to know how hard this lock is to pick. here are the specs

Name: Master Lock No.130
Security : 4 Pins
not so sure about the rest.
anyways it takes me about a good minute and a half to get it open.

Best Reguards,

Hellfire911.

well the lock is of low dificulty, but a good start... try single pin picking it for a little more challenge and don't stop playing with it till it breaks or you can open it in 10secs.

Have a look around the site and see db guide... somewhere but I'm lazy.... give it a try, oh and get a cheap deadbolt to play with it'll give you a little more feel for picking.

but to be serious now....

This is very inadvisable, do not pick locks that are not yours!

Not to throw a wet blanket on your hellfire. but my 98 year old grandmother can pick it with just a splinter off her wooden leg. She is legally blind and has arthritise too. She merely sticks her splinter made pick in the lock and just from her shaky hands holding the pick in the lock can pop the master 130 open in under 30 seconds.
