Padlock shims, what thickness/gauge is used

hey just a quick question really

I fancy having a go with a padlock shim. ive seen the guide to making them out of coke cans but does anyone know what gauge/thickness steel is used on them?

I i can find a sheet of the same thickness i want to cut my own out.

micrometer. can get a decentish one for ~10$ at homedespot or a real hardware store that carrys actual tools. failing that, i'll measure one tonight for ya if i remember to check the recycling.

cheers, been playing with my feeler gauge and a few locks i think 0.10mm feels about right. gonna go get a few different thicknesses and give them a go then ill mark up a sheet and get it scanned in and post it all up on here.

Then ppl can download, print and just cut out the shims.

its about time i put something back in to the site.
