well.....i was gonna buy a lockpick set then thought......i learnt to pick locks learning just a bobby pin and a clip from a pen....so using needle nose plyers ive made a mini set out of bobby pins and pen clips and a file (being the magyvery kinda guy i am) and they work suprisingly well.....i made a half hook, half diamond, snake auto pick and several torque wrenchs and they all work great.....so until i decide to start up a bussiness or not when i get locked outta my house ill hava few picks in my wallet (btw it took sooooo longs to file the picks smooth...haha) so im gonna take a few picks and post em here....and also possibly a vid of me using them....
critic and thoughts or advice please.....im still reletivly new to locksmithing...
p.s. im spelling bad cause im ina hurry

You know you have lock picking on the brain when you refer to pictures as picks instead of pics. lol

well....i figured that if I started learning to pick with bobby pins then when I get real picks it would be way easier...right? anyways i just made a bunch more that ill post later...now i have an 8 piece set...a few hooks....a few half diamonds...steep and shallow......a few snakes.....a king......and then my wrench....and i find they work quite well...and if you want i may post a few vids of me in action...
Happy Holidays and New Year

wow, thats WAY better than my bobby pin set (then again I made mine in like 30 minutes, and they arent incredibly smooth...) I have a standard southord set, so I made mine really small so they could fit in real tight areas where my southords can't... and fit in my wallet easily just in case I need it for my house/locker/anything else you could possibly get locked out of . Those are some good pics by the way, I'm curious as to what your tension wrench is made of and/or how it was made. The pins I used were fairly small so they could fit in small locks, so the flat end of one of them wasn't big enough to fit in as a tension wrench. That was quickly solved, however, by hammering the crap out of the end .
By the way, it does get easier with real picks... trust me... WAY easier. It may take you a day or two to get used to 'em, but after that, smooth sailing.
It's ok guys, i have a really bad attention sp-wow look, a beach!

well the torque wrench is a street sweeper bristle but i never carry that around.....i just carry my set...which has 3 new picks...they're kind of crummy cause i hurried through makin em...only took me 2-3 MINS....(now that i think of it only took me 6-7 hours to make the entire set but ive spent countless hours using them).

and i carry a pen that i modded a bit so that if i need a wrench i can just pull out the clip then when im done out it back on...hehe....and ways im thinkin of posting a few vids of me usin em....also if you have any questions about how i made/use them just ask
