Yes, it is possible. It is also possible you could pick it with a hot dog. (Frozen and carved to the right shape.) I would not suggest trying though. You would most likeley end up with broken peices of pencil (or hotdog) messing up the lock. :wink:

mechanical or wood? or wood/plastic composite (the new crappy pencil stuff)?

if note specified, then yes, you could probably split a steel mech pencil body, hammer it flat and grind it into a pick.

wooden, i imagine if you coudl find a nice hardwood pencil, you probably could fashion a workable pick out of the wood or the metal band that holds the eraser on.

The parts from an average mechanical pencil are sufficient to pick a lock at least once, and perhaps even a few times providing you know what you are doing.

Absolutely! Place the cow so her rear is facing the offending lock. Plug in the toaster and depress the lever. When the toaster timer fires, the toaster should make startling noise. This will cause the cow to kick, smashing the lock (not you said open the lock, so actual picking is not specified). Be careful what you ask for... :wink:

or stick the cows tail in the toaster, when the tail starts on fire it will ignite the haybales burnign the barn down, which will result in the door fallign out of it's frame.
