Actually I think he was joking, its kinda common sense with the whole "KW" thing  .
I dont want to make this an ordeal or anything, just trying to help.

a brinks pad lock i have in my collection uses the KW1 keyway if that helps.

Most of the cheap locks the box stores sell use KW.
Then there's Kwikset, Titan, Weiser, Weslock, Falcon & Arrow.
Most other mfgs (Schlage, Cal Royal, US Can, Marks) can supply KW cylinders in their locks from the factory.
You can also purchase replacement cylinders for about any grade 1 or 2 lock with KW keyway.

Thanks to everyone for their knowledge. Today was my secound re-key job and I keyed a Titan, Westlock (only worked so/so), defiant, and Kwikset to a KW1.

Some Yale locks now use the KW1 keyway.
