mpxs-14 and european locks

European hardware -lever locks, profile cylinders specific for European locks. European lock picks and European locks.

mpxs-14 and european locks

hi,

i'm a beginner and i would like to buy the mpxs-14 :

But it will works on european locks?

The MPXS will open most European locks but it is a "Standard" profile set and may not be able to easily access the restrictive keyways found on some European cylinders.

An alternative would be the Southord C801 (9 piece set) or the C1500 (15 piece set). Other manufacturers do equally well made picksets but generally you should look for sets that are advertised as "Slimline".

i got a standard set first time round. get a slimline set. standard is fine but slimline is much easier. especially on bad pin sets.

Go ahead and get the MPXS 8 set. But eventually you'll want slim lines.
