Good quality padlock

Postby gostone » 25 Dec 2006 15:34

Looking to buy a replaceable core quality padlock, any good suggestions. I would prefer to have something that can be easily repinned. I was thinking of perhaps a medeco. Any opinions on the multi locks? I have not tried picking them yet.

Abus. Not an IC Core type lock, but the cylinders are easy to remove, if you have the key, and to repin. Available at Hardware Agencies.

Does hardware agencies sell to the public? I thought they were only wholesale. Which model of Abus would you recommend...

I think their only wholesale. A Locksmith would probably have a selection. Lock Clinic's Markham store has quite a few models on display, in different price ranges. 905-294-0660.
