Ilco SFIC (BEST, etc.) FM blank -- what it fits

Information about locks themselves. Questions, tips and lock diagram information should be posted here.

Why did ilco make it?

A. There is an OEM blank similar to this one in existance.

B. ilco custom designed it to be accomodated by more than one keyways, but in this case, they should have a good idea what keyways it fits.

Here's update to my experimental result.

The "unknown brand" FM is actually ilco and the one labeled "star" is star.

I've tested that:

ilco FM fits:
A,D,E,F,G. Does not fit: J,K,L,M

Star FM tested the same, except it DOES NOT fit "F".

It would be great if someone could dig through the sands of time and write a definitive article backed by sources. This is a truely unique thread.

It is possible that the cheap JMA blanks that C-L-K supplies sent me are not made to ilco's same standards but they are supposed to be FM. ~Grit.

gritty, would you post front and back photo of the said FM?
