What Gauge Wire Will Fit This Tubing?

I'm going to buy this very small tubing: http://www.smallparts.com/products/desc ... tx-xtw.cfm

I'm going to be feeding wire through the tubing, and I'm having trouble understanding the gauges. The smallest gauge tubing they offer is 34. Would I need a wire whose gauge is 34 to fit into that tubing, or would it have to be even smaller? Are tubing and wire gauges even related, or are they completely different measurements?

hmm in that table it says O.D=.0070 and I.D=.0055.

O.D is outside diamter and I.D is inside diameter. So if you want to put wire inside it the wires O.D will need to be less than the tubings I.D

Thats a bit confusing, so basicly you need a wire that is less than .0055
Im guessing meausurements are in inches due to the fact they base lengths in inches.
Also you may need to take into consideration for the tolerences, otherwise you may buy it and figure out that the tubing is actually smaller or larger than stated. I cant imagine that being bigger could be a problem, but id it smaller it will be.

The gauge listed on the table ought to match the inner diameter since they are classified as tubes.

I would imagine a solid rods I.D=0
