Which type?

Hey guys,

Im new here, been interested in lock picking for a while, I was wondering if you one of you guys could put me out of my misery and tell me which type of lock this is:

They use "skeleton" keys as I know off, and I was wondering how easy it is to pick them?

I am 16, and I am going to buy myself a lock pick set, strictly for educational purposes offcourse, looks very exciting, also what type of set do you think I should get?

I was going to buy an Easy Pickings set, its a 5-piece set, but what do you recommened.

Its a euro sash lock, it takes a euro lock which is a pin tumbler and turns it in to a mortice lock,

Ok im not sure where i stand with this as i know shrub knows WAY more than me but that look like a level lock not a pin tumbler to me.

As Shrub wrote, it's only a lock case; it has no security value, until you fix a Euro Cylinder into it. The Euro Cylinder will then operate the latch and the deadbolt.

(If you feel so, you could instead add a cheap insert [ blurry picture here: http://www.wagner-sicherheit.de/shop/ru ... kid~1.html ] that makes it accept warded keys; this is sometimes done during construction time of a building, when the final Euro Cylinders are not yet available)

the lock case doesnt need any pick to open it, its a single lever nothing case.
its the cylinder that is fitted in it that would need picking, and how you pick it depends upon what type of cylinder and what quality of cylinder you fit to it.
