Slimline picks against US style picks comparrison

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

I thought the euro picks _were_ the slimlines...

They are,

The measurements i gave are for slimlines / euro picks, were still waiting for someone to post the same sort of detail for us picks,

Agreed. I was responding to the other post:

I think that the common american pick is over thick and works well only on full size cylinders with simple warding, they are designed for heavy handed and amatuer picking where they are treated as pry bars, the manufacturers would rather not get a lot of bent picks returned with complaints so they make em heavy duty, they really should send the slims out with the heavy shaft picks and let the customers see what they are missing.

My Southord picks are 0.020 inches thick. They are the normal picks, not the slimline.

What difference do handles make on euro and US picks?
Are they just there to be easier to hold? or does one heighten the feel more?
