i just picked a Popular Mechanics lock, have no idea what kind it is, just found it lying around. did it with a safety pin and a bent pair of really small scissors.
digital blue's guide on how to do it helped a lot so just saying thanks a ton, such a satisfying feeling

Congratulations, hope its for hobby/educational reasons not anything illegal. its fairly fround upon on here. hope to see u around the forums. get ur self some proper picks from southord as well.

now all you need is a pickset, you dont even KNOW how much of a difference that makes

So true; I picked a couple locks but when I got my set it was gravy compared to my homemade crap. No sawblades or windshield wipers or anything, just basic crap. Get some picks, you'll love 'em.

True for beginners but some of the home made picks are WAY better, look at newbies for example
