Wow, thats a really great looking safe, (even though it offers no protection)

I think it would be best to call that a 'privacy box' as opposed to a 'safe'.

With regards to the 1/2" steel... it's certainly a great project. I really like the bolt mechanism.

For picture purposes, I would have either A: cut/pasted more money in, or B: taken the money out.

BTW: I am Canadian, and I prefer our money. A green bill is a 20, a blue bill is a 5, a brown bill is a 100. I don't have to look at anything past the colour!

it's wood....but if you put it in a wall or you hide it,can be very seful.Or you can put another safe in it...one made from steel. :)

I'm not saying it's not useful, privacy boxes are great. It offers essential no attack resistance, which is the definition of a 'safe'.

I think i would put a small wooden safe like that in a pot and boil it for an hour or 2.
