I came across a video somewhere on the internet a while ago of someone bypassing a club style steering wheel lock by shimming the locking mechanism. I forgot to bookmark the site and can't seem to find it anywhere after repeated attempts. Can someone help point me in the right direction or provide me with a copy of it if you have it saved.
Thanks

This is a lock picking forum not an automotive security device bypass forum.

In my opinion...Lock picking is a form of opening a lock by means of opening the lock by means other than the use of the key intended for that specific lock by manipulating the pins, wafers, combination, or the locking mechanism.
Didn't your mother ever teach you that if you don't have anything nice to say...Don't say it at all?

I think ill post this for firearm
A) Lockpicking is not the same thing as bypassing. Bypassing specifically is opening a lock by means of bypassing the locking mechanism (such as operating the lever, instead of the lock itself)
Picking is opening a lock by means of manipulating the pins/wafers/discs using mechanical imperfections to duplicate the sense of the right key being introduced into the lock.
B) Your first sentence was probably the most redundant and superfluous one I have ever seen in my life.
C) I doubt your intentions to open a steering wheel lock are good, and I fully support his comment.
D) Don't be asinine, you have little knowledge on the subject, and it isn't wise to correct people who clearly know more about a subject than you.
It's ok guys, i have a really bad attention sp-wow look, a beach!

I would have never thought that my grammer skills had a direct reflection on my ability to work on locks. C) I doubt your intentions to open a steering wheel lock are good, and I fully support his comment.
Wow...I can't believe you are sooooooooo judgemental over someone asking a question. How in God's Green Earth do you have any idea what my intentions are for wanting this information? Is it because I finally just started posting on this site instead of reading it without interjecting and am new here? I guess all new people on here have ulterior motives? It is obvious that I seen the clip before and know how it's done. I was asking the forum if anyone can provide me with the link or the video itself. My fiance is a lawyer and has a case that this video would be relavant. So...if that is sufficiant enough for my intentions? D) Don't be asinine, you have little knowledge on the subject, and it isn't wise to correct people who clearly know more about a subject than you.
How can you possibly know the extent of my education or experience level? The statement I made was preceded by In my opinion which means exactly what it says. This was not a quote out of a locksmithing terminology list. I have been working on locks for several years in the capacity of a hotel maintenance engineer for a small chain of independently owned hotels and am working on my certifications with ALOA and ILA.

Your opinion clashes with the opinions of the people who run the site, which is probably why they restrict discussion of bypass methods to the advanced forums. Didn't your mother ever teach you that if you don't have anything nice to say...Don't say it at all?
I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that Firearm stating a simple fact was not "nice." I am sure that he could have been much, much nastier.

Didnt your mother tell you to read the rules of a forum before posting anything you want?
Come back when youve got a better attitude, before then read the rules of site, spend some time looking around and seeing how things work around here,
If we knew where the video was we couldnt post it here anyway due to the rules so its a redundant question on a redundant thread,
