Oh yeah and it doesn't have to be from southord but i want a nice quality set that has a variety of (useful) picks that work on american locks. For under $50.

There are many many many posts of this on the rest of the forum if you would search. Search. Search???? How can you picks just get stolen. Dont you value them. I Do they are nevr in a unsafe place. Anyways if you like picking and think you are going to stick with it get a set of normal size picks.(Mpxs 14 is a suggestion on a stick of the site) And a set of slimelines for narrow keyways. Lots of tensons wreches are good too. I only have an MPXS 14 and it has suited me well so far.

Ok thanks. And i do value my picks very much. They were in my coat and i put it in my locker and when i came back my locker was open and my picks were gone, along with $20. But i can't tell the administration because they weren't supposed to be at school in the fist place. And i don't care about the money it's no biggie.

Wow ok it's not what you think i promise. Sometimes when i have a free period, or get bored during class (i sit in the back) i pick the padlock that's in my backpack. And theres this teacher that always locks her door and we have to stand out in the hall for ever so i like to pick that lock and see the look on her face when were all in her room.

Naughty boy. Don't screw with other people's locks. Most school locks are master keyed and if you screw it up you'll be looking at paying the lockie to come and fix it. Besides, if you get caught you'll be suspended and you might even get charged with possession of burglary tools since even breaking into a classroom as a joke is wrong.

The PXS-17 was the first set that I started with. Not a bad set, but you'll soon find that the brass handle is pretty useless. I just leave my long rake in it.
And on the matter of picking your class room door lock, that's totally not cool. If you get caught, you make us all look bad. Even when you don't get caught, you make us all look bad to those who know that you did it.
Not cool at all. Keep your picking above board and it's better for everyone, yourself included.
Remember the rule:
You may only pick locks that you own or those to which you've been given expressed permission to pick by the rightful owner.
That's the deal we all make with this community. I don't think it's too much to ask.

Yeah i know. As i said before it won't happen again. Sorry for any negative thoughts that might have come by it. And it's not too much to ask in fact that's what i've been doing (except for that one time ) in face i've spent about $50 buying locks. Which i know that's not much too you guys but it is for me. Any way if that is the set that you think i should buy i'll do it.
Thanks for the advice,
Nick
