The first lock I picked was a small ACE lock. It was super easy. You just hit the back pin and the shackle snaps up.

Mine was a tri-cycle 264 i think...usually tri-cycles are very easy to pick...

i have already posted pics in the "worst lock" thread but this is a very special lock indeed.
This "zenith" i have opened it using a bussiness card cut up with scissors.

You can use this bumpkey(top) to open it using it like a normal key. no bump needed, just insert and turn. but the bitings are way off, look at this pic.

Cheap $2 padlock, no picking required, just shove what ever you can in the key way and turn... I threw that one away.

Mine was a master lock #22, I was able to pick it with a paper-clip.

For me, wafer locks come first, then prolly a cheap no name padlock. Insert pick and wrench, wiggle a bit, and pop!

I dunno if I even kept that one. :roll:

Hmm...I'm divided here. I would say a wafer tumbler from our filing cabinet...but that doesn't even count IMHO. The first lock I picked was a kwikset, and the easiest padlock I have is a master no 3 so it's one of those, both are equally difficult.

i can get both my number 140s in less than 15 seconds. there about my easiest right now. except for a black spur padlock that will sometimes open with one swipe of a rake and sometimes wont open at all

An unbranded euro-profile cylinder. With very little tension, it opens nearly as soon as a half-diamond goes in. I use it to introduce people to picking. It's good in two ways : it shows them they /can/ do it, and it teaches them to use little tension.

i have a couple of ERA padlocks witch i can pick with a very quick stab with a small dimond pick even with the dimonod faceing way from the pins lol also a handerson garage door lock witch i picked with my tention tool only ( ha hah cheep wafer locks lol )

Mine would have to be a warded lock i got at the dollar store.

I bought two, took one apart, saw how it worked, and used a tension wrench to pop open the other one. Funny story, the gas station down the road uses a warded lock to lock up it's propane take cage outside of its store.
