Sticking with what you know, the master 140 brass body padlock has spool pins. The 3rd pin is usually the culprit. Ive found some of the 140s have more than one, but you can count on at least one...and its pretty much in the same spot every time.

Only the Max security ones do.

They are tough to pick. High-low set pins, as well as 4 spools

If your looking for a rekeyable lock, I would try a master 220. It has 5 pins, 4 of which are security pins. It has an IC core so you can learn picking from one pin to 4 pins. Mine cost me to much, but I assume you should be able to get one for under 20$.

Probably best to go with a Master brass bodied padlock such as No140, or a rekeyable Master such as 220/230 as suggested previously. No140 is a step up from normal pins and is only a four pin lock. Rekeyable Master 220/230 is a little trickier - 5 pin with (normally) 4 spool top pins. The earlier 220/230's had no top spools to my knowledge, so make sure you get a current model.

The easiest lock to pick that I have that I am certain has some sort of security pin in it is a brinks discus. Really a very easy lock to pick once you get the hang of how spool pins react.
