old wall safe need help to crack

Postby diceman_6 » 16 Jan 2007 1:04

Hi all, I bought a house and in the basement there is a wall safe, that i am dieing to open not only to see whats inside but to use it as my own.

this is my first post here so i am not to sure if this is in the right area

The safe is about 15 inches by 15 inches, it is a combination unit with a pin to pull in about the middle of the door
the dial goes up to 99 and has yale stamped on it, in the top left of the safe on a plate it says Tower and under says sears and robuck. it looks pretty old and is painted over.

i don't even know where to begin with it.

any ideas?

Safes are for the advanced sections of this forum. I would suggest you read the rules and if you plan on picking locks then to read all of the stickies posted on the site. I would suggest calling a locksmith because safes are for the advanced section. Thanks.

Lock this possibly?

dude ull never get it open call a lock smith. don't even try. not sure about small safes but some old safes have some nasty little tricks in them that u really don't want to set off. get a lock smith in, and don't worry bumpit, it will end up locked in a few mins

All bases covered i think,

Call a locksmith you wont get in it by yourself (no disrespect but thats what they are designed for)

And what was the other thing..........
