I don't know about your lock but every master lock i've picked (i've picked a lot) didn't have security pins.

uhh. there are a few really decent locks by master that have security pins. the master no. 532 for example is a pain.

if it is a master brand lock, then please do share what no. it is. that will help us help you immensely. if there is no number series, then post a pic.

that lock you have has an M16 keyway whichis basially just like an M1 but backwards. The hour glass shap of the retainer only allows you to turn the plug clockwise. With this keyway it will be fairly difficult because the tension wrench will slip out of position. You can do 2 things:
1. impression the lock using a key blank
2. pick it counter clockwise and use a plug spinner to spin it around the correct way which is probably easier.

I made a plug spinner using part of a hardwood dowel, a NEWmousetrap, 2 zip ties, windscreen wiper blade insert, and Gorilla Glue.

have fun.

if the plug spins ~10 degrees while picking, it means you have false set some security pins, no go and use your search fu to rid yourself of this obstacle!
