shizims

Postby raimundo » 18 Jan 2007 13:23

the shims linked to for the lockpick shop. com are cylinder dissasembly shims, and in most cases are just a bit better than the anti theft devises, both of these are cylinder disassembly shims, the professional ones are neatly curved to fit, (didn't used to be though) if one of the professional shims is just a bit too thick for some tight lock, try the antitheft shims. The great thing about the anti theft devises is that they are ubiquitous. while the professional shims are bought in bulk mostly by bench locksmiths who do a lot of set up in the shop.
