old file cabinet lock

Postby zerg49 » 21 Jan 2007 15:13

I am helping my grandparents move and we were going to get some papers out of a file cabinet only to discover it was locked, so I set to work trying to pick it, only to be puzzled by its construction, the pins are about 1.5 in. inside the lock and they are extremely hard to feel, if anyone has come across one of these before please help me out here, I will post a close up of the lock, if I need to have my grandparents pose for a picture next to it to dispell any suspicions then I will be happy to.
