Can't pick this lock...I'm a newb by the way

Postby tbuddha » 1 May 2004 11:05

I have this lock where the 5th pin is way high, the 4th is way low, 2 and 3 are high and 1 is low again. I altered my Southord hook so that it would reach around the 4th to poke at the 5th better, but it still feels like I'm messing up the set on the 5th when I pull the pick under the 4th. Any suggestions????

You should either buy or make a pick similar to the Peterson reach.

Heres the peterson reach pick (on top) regular peterson hook on bottom. For some locks I like a thinned down hook with a little more "hook" to the hook Image Chuck
