Ken Peterson visit to London

Postby sidpick » 23 Jan 2007 14:48

Hi,

For all the UK locksmiths out there Ken Peterson himself will be visiting us on 11th Feb. All trading locksmiths welcome.

Venue will be at West Clandon, Guildford which has a mainline station and pub next door!

Ken plans to bring some tools, do some demo's and unveil some new gadgets prior to them coming onto the market so it should be a good day.

As per the South East meetings it will probably go on till the wee hours with lots discussed, lots of lockpicking and lots of good fun

Hope to see you there.

PM me for any info

Sid

its an icl event, was initially for members only, but was then put out as an open invitation to all trading locksmiths, as it should be a decent day that all can benefit from.

I`d love to go, but I`ve got tickets to the italy england match at twickers the day before. It now takes me about 2 days to get over day / night social eventing. I may be able to get er indoors to take me down there, although, she dos`nt like driving thru bandit country I`ll do my best.

Well the visit is now over, good old turn out so thanks to all who attended. In the end Ken did not show up but sent his learned collegue Cole. Felt quite sorry for him as he was dragged off the plane at Gatwick rushed up to us - had to demo the kit - then forced to drink beer!!

It was informative and good to see some of the picks and tools that are used over the pond.

The tooling and finishing of the Peterson picks is second to none and do work on most of the UK profiles, if they don't then the slimline picks do. The tension tools are fantastic and nothing over here compares for normal locksmithing use

Bypass tools again are of a very high quality (no more about bypass!!)

so thanks to Keyprint, Wallaby for hosting and to Cole from Peterson's for a very informative day! and good to see some of the 'faces!' from the South!
