Making keys to a voting machine!

Postby Knowthebird » 23 Jan 2007 14:53

Hey everyone.

I know this is not really lockpicking as much as bad security practice, but I thought I would post it anyway.

Earlier I posted a topic asking about the lock on the diebold accuvote machine, well this is what it was leading to, even if I did not know it...

All I can say Is WOW. I will be calling my senators and representatives tomorrow to outlaw any electronic voting in my state.

its a scam

Postby raimundo » 24 Jan 2007 9:41

its a scam, the diebold executive promised to 'deliver ohio' in the 2004 election and he did, its all about election theft without a paper trail, just another of the breathtakingly crooked schemes of the party of big brother.

yes this is crazy, when i first heard about the die bold flaws a few months ago i did alot of reading about it, just google it, alot of politcal sites come up linking the CEO of Die bold to Bush ect ect. but still the insecurities of the voting machines is unacceptible, from both a physical and a data stand point.

When Barry Wels was bringing down the Dutch electronic voting machines he distributed the keys to the machines with his press kits. These things have been a sham all over the globe.

mark your ballot

Postby raimundo » 26 Jan 2007 14:57

you can make a permanent record of your vote on that machine, you need a carbide scribe point, or a big sharp rock.
