I've noticed everyone (including me) has done nothing really with the handles of their picks... I was wondering if you guys just like the all metal feel, or if you just don't know what you would use as handle material...
If the answer is the former, I completely understand and this post can die... if it's the latter, I think I have a solution.
Available at any hardware store near the paint, you can find rubber "dip" for tool handles... It's great for rubberizing handles of pliers, crescent wrenches, etc., and I just thought it would make a pretty nifty rubber handle for a hacksaw width pick. Even the retail all-metal picks could possibly benefit from the rubber coating. It protects the metal and your hand, though it might make it feel less sensitive when picking. Just thought I'd throw the idea out there.
