Identify Master Lock

How do I Identify what Master lock is what? Like Master lock #5?

It should say what # of lock it is near the keyway.

A picture would help.....a lot

the model number written on the bottom...
Example; If on the bottom of the lock it says "no.3" then it would be a masterlock no.3,
this is where it gets tricky... if it says "no.5" then contrary to a natural conclusion that it would be a no.3 lock it is not, it is actually a no.5 lock

Ok thats good to know..


I was talking to a firend today and told her about my new hobby (her husband owns a Liqudation store, I was hoping there was something their I could make a pick out of), When I got home I had a message asking if I could open a safe :shock: :shock: :shock: I had to call back and let her know I don't know how. :( One was a combo and the other was a digital combo (push button).

(NOTE: I AM NOT ASKING HOW I know questions like this belongs in the advanced forum)

So.. I wish. :lol:
