In response & Complaint to forum Abuse...

Okay I know I should probably roll with the punches, but I'm just tired of hypocrites and people that are just generally rude: So in response to post

viewtopic.php?t=715

This is my complaint / retort... the issue is buried far as I'm concerned, but I'm not going to be maliciously trumped/silenced b/c someone wants to break rules and pull rank...BTW I too can donate money and I HAVE been a member longer than you afaik. More posts no...Oh wait I work 50+hours/week and travel. So I lurk and post when I have time... In terms of civility...I out "rank" you buddy...

Lol... Aiding and Abetting a SLAVE was ILLEGAL... should that "house law" not have been broken in the pursuit of informing oneself about them actually being civil and deserving human beings??? Okay okay point taken Bossman... back to work for me.

BTW- Not to be a nit-pick, but at the same time you sir are completely drunk and or out-of-line. I don't care HOW many posts or years you've been on here more than myself: RULES ARE RULES and you're breaking the forum rules: Either abid by them or take your own advice?

9. Flaming other posters is not in permitted on any forum. All flames will be deleted/edited, and the poster warned. <---- "Chump?" Who's the guy that's breaking HIS own rules in attempts to be rude and belittle? Foot in your mouth sir.

13. Profanity is unacceptable, and will be deleted. Frequent use will lead to your status being removed. <---Technically you never said the IMPLIED word, but the implication, maliciousness and intent was and is clear, thus another violation.

That said, I'll probably get reprimanded in some kind of seniority-hypocritism, but so be it, YOU are not above me nor anyone else on here. Please be respectful to new persons such as myself, b/c you WERE new at one time and I'm sure you would not tolerate such belittlement and pure vulgarity towards yourself.... Thank God It's FRIDAY! Have a good one! :D

Oh my question: WHY is this type of hazing-like behavior permitted? I didn't break the rules.... but someone else's rank suffices to allow them to be exempt from the rules us peons have to follow? If I did break a rule, there's certainly a more civil route to handling the matter eg:

Sorry V12V12 buy you have broken rule #123456 and I must lock this topic, please refer to the list of exceptable posts, thank you. <-- Guess that's too much to ask for? Any how thanks.

I'm a little confused. I'm half thinking there was another post after mine that I missed, but you may well be referring to me.

I know that I wouldn't have cursed at you, or the OP on that thread, I save any of that for IRC.

As harsh as I may have come off, my comment was something to the effect of "there are forums out there that don't restrict this information, feel free to use them" though I was probably snippy about it, if so, I apologize, but someone's post was fairly acidic, I can't remember if it was yours or the fellow following yours. Either way, I was a bit miffed, which isn't the best way to enter into any sort of conversation.

Anyhow.

Sorry if I upset you, but I don't believe I've been hypocritical in my posting.

It really does not matter that something can be ripped off with a crowbar etc as you stated in the other thread. Saying that is like saying that since you can break the window and get into my home that I should tell you how to pick the medeco lock on the door. Simply irrational.

A rule was broken, that rule was discussion bypass techniques on the open forum. Saying someone is a hypocrite for posting "F off" is not more hypocritical than posting the information that was being posted or the creation of this thread.

In the future, if you have a rant like this PM it to a mod or administrator and we will talk and work it out. I cannot alway promise that things will work out the way you like, but I will always listen to anyone's concerns.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!

This thread is totally unacceptable. As zeke said, if you have a problem, PM a mod or admin.
