this is the safe door i had to make for trade school, other than the crappy wealding what do you think?


it has 2 point locking that works of a Ross 600 safe lock

and a deadlocking relocker, but there is no relocker wire on it anymore

whats holding that relocker back?

i did have relocker wire holding it back, it went around the posts in the top and bottom left corners and was held back by being tightened under a screw on the lock

Looks stout. Does the 45* slot angle on the secondary bolt slide well? Seems like a flatter angle (which would admittedley give less throw) might actuate (or retract - depending on door orientation) easier. Kind of a fun project for trade school. Good for you.

yeh it slides good enough, i guess if i where to make it bettter i could use brass but really its not very practical i just wanted to do something different.
and with the relocker the bit in a angle stops it from being pulled back because the washer on the relocker catches, , i wouldnt mind making another one like this but alot better

with that angle both bolts have the same throw
