dont use the code function for linking.
you can just copy paste the link. (as below)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kLExcKkq7E
OR
you can use the URL button. (if you know how)
My Video
if you have any questions pertaining to the proper use of the URL button, please refer to my guide to using options thread. its in general chatter somewhere. do a search.
as for the video itself...... next time try better lighting so viewers can see what is actually going on, it was hard to see.
raking a master no. 130? ok. looked more like a snake rake to me. but whatever.
why the instructional part? we all know the basic uses (as well as some very complicated uses) of the tension wrench and snake rake.
granted it was one stroke, that was a nice raking there. bravo on that.
overall, i think you probably need to work on your directorial skills, some lighting, better audio, take out unnecessary parts (aka instructions......) and get to something cool. try single pin picking it fast with a short hook you made by hand, and instead of a master 130, try something a bit tricky that people will surely want to watch. (eg, higher security, different type of locking mechanisms, or picking with something different, a banana for instance)
but since its your first video, it wasnt THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT bad.

i think it was informative for the beginner (there are a lot more beginners than pros or hobbyists) but it would be cool if he made a SPP video.
BTW:krypos you are so picky give the guy a break at least it wasnt something stupid like asking what a serrated pin is
Seek and ye shall find.

and those were my comments.
now, i didnt say it sucked and he needs a lot of help before he should post videos. i tried to make it more or less constructive criticism.
NOW, since a beginner has stated that it is very helpful for a beginner, then i'll give him that. but it still needs work before it is actually a nice, decent instructional video.
as for being tough on the use of the code button..... i would have posted the same thing if anyone had done that.
frankly, most new users get a nearly automated response to their first post, such as iNtago's, UWSDWF's or others copy pasted new users post, where it says the same thing and they just copy paste it into the thread for the new user, and usually no actual information pertaining to their question.
and i did add in a smiley at the end to show that i wasnt being all drill sargeant on him. was trying to help here. so dont take my post so serious. not everything i post is flames.

Wow you really let rip on that guy who made a suggestion to SPP the lock instead of rake in the comments.
I've never used a snake like that, i thought it was for sticking in and jiggling and all that, I might have to try out what you did.

Isn't the snake rake the same thing as a c rake?
On another hand, wow, hellfire, chill out it was just a comment, and it is better to SPP than rake in my opinion... I mean, anyone can rip the pick out of a lock. Also, raking won't get you anywhere if you're picking higher level locks.
It's ok guys, i have a really bad attention sp-wow look, a beach!

That's total bull man! Some members of this forum have opened locks that are considered high security - Barry Wells raked open a Medeco FFS!
Seriously - Before you put people down, check your facts.
I didn't think Krypo's post was that bad - it was feedback if anything, and had some useful pointers. It really annoys me when you get people who pre-write posts and just ram them into newbie posts - often not helping the newcomer at all...
hellfire: The video was fairly good - not all locks will have as much play, and the plug will not move as much. The raking technique needs improving, and it's more than just a hard ripping motion. Try pulling it out gently and gently bouncing the pick.
P.S: You actualy *are* a Warez kid aren't you? lol, I just checked out your 'www' link.

Yeah, Barry Wells raked open a Medeco FFS...
I didn't intend to put anyone down, but his comment seriously got me aggravated, and i was in a bad mood already.
Sorry if i was a little over the top.

Yeah, and if Barry Wells opened a Medeco by raking it, then so can somebody else with enough practice. I just wanted to point out that your claim that raking was totally ineffective, was untrue and might misguide a newbie into thinking raking is useless-which is untrue-

Bitching between everyone else aside, I found this video very helpful.
I followed along with it and managed to do the exact same myself. It took me 10 tries instead of 2, or whatever, but it's still much cooler to show off and do it in 10 pulls than try to pick it for 2 hours...
From the technical side I'd still like to pick it, but the show-off in me wants to do it the fastest way possible.
Thanks a lot for the video, hellfire911.

wow... that was all very un-nessecary....
alot of forums require links to be posted in the code function so people aren't using it for GPR.... relax
it's a cool vid keep up the good work
