Yes, they understood. You didn't understand theirs, though: those sites don't have the manpower or money to run a background check on every customer to determine whether they're legitimate. Frankly, they probably don't care.

LMFAO! i must remember that!

and to the OP:

do you know how hard it would be for a company to "trace" your ip to your house, discover your identity and then hold that info about you just because you ordered picks?

why would they go through all that when you are about to give them your address/name/phone number and email?'

seriously though. only sociopathic government agencies would go through that, but that would be for stuff like bomb supplies or something that is a real threat to the world.

order as much as you can pay for.

as UWSDWF already said! nothing happens its there so if u steal something and say u got the tools from the site they cant get sued!

If they had a team of people tracking down IP addresses with ISPs and then checking with world wide organizations to make sure your a lock registered smith, even though most countries don't require it. for every order worth a few dollars how much debt do you think they would be in!

There are websites that only deal with professionals but unless ur spending $300s plus on a single tool its fine.

They also provide the category of identifying yourself as a locksmith student. So if you're really paranoid you can spend $700 on the FB course and wait till you receive your student "ID Card", then place your orders at lockpicks.com or Southord.com guilt free.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture
