The man's name is Jeff Sitar. I've spoken with him about the vault on More than Human. I haven't actually seen the show but from what he explained the producers expected the vault to take him a while and planned to have him in a box down at the corner of the screen for the rest of the show while they showed other guests. According to Jeff they were absolutely stunned when he opened the vault up in something like 6 or 7 minutes. Jeff was actually a little suprised himself and attributed some of the speed to luck. He began looking for the first number at 8 and found it was at 10 then moved on to the second number starting at 15 and found it at 22. He just happen to start looking at numbers that were close to the actual combo. He said it took him 30 seconds to get the first two number then about 5 minutes to get the 3rd. It was a 4 wheel vault lock so after getting 3 of the numbers he just started dialing it with 0-99 for the 4th number until it opened.

If he does all that by the extra sensitive feeling in his fingers, I think the term "More Than Human" does apply to him.

Has a he!! of a lot more to do with consistency than anything else

As far as the physical senses used it's about 50% touch and 50% sight.
