Usually they are 3 pin cam locks.

A lot easier than the normal ones-top and bottom pins inside- but not bad security for their size.

Well I searched quickly and the only other reference that sounded close to 'Medico' was a tubular lock - And they certainly don't come in 3 pin versions. I believe that it was a typo and he in fact meant 'Medeco'

Of course I may very well be wrong, at any rate it was the only decent answer in the thread at any rate.
