u dont have to pick that thing at all, u just smack it with a hammer a couple times and masterlocks normally pop right off
....aaaaand the best part is- the company focused on makin the outside strong, so the lock will still be usable

I know I am very late but.. I own that multi-tool. I would use the file. It would have taken no more than 15min to file the through. I also must add Gerber makes one fine multi-tool. Nice choice.
