Its all about timing and pressure on the key, are u using pull back or minimum movement method?
1:20 is about normal for some one just starting. just keep at it, also if your not using a bump hammer try various things to try it on.
All the best

a bump key will not get it 1st tap every time, an element of skill and luck still exists, 20 taps isnt so bad.

and since you read the forum rules before posting you should know that automotive is a restricted topic

search for the MIT guide for manual picking. automotive lockpicking is not discussed in the public forums.

You cant here until you are granted access to the advanced forums. i must admit i find the fact that you are more interested in bumping and auto locks a little worrying.
This site is based on Lock picking as a hobby/sport. most of the members here are more interested in learning the skill and beating the lock rather than gaining entry to anything. although we do have a lot of professional locksmiths on the forums i can see you do not fall in to that category.
Get you self a set of picks and give Single Pin Picking a go, u might really enjoy it.
All the best

Well i assumed that was a snide comment about how some of the people that were apparently involved in the 9/11 attacks only learned how 2 take off. if i was mistaken thats my bad.
