what does your shop look like

Hello to all, I manage/run a shop in Richmond ,VA . We have a high volume of customers almost every day. What I am interested in is what have you (if you have a shop) done with your floor space to show off products keep customers occupied and spending money and how is your work bench area organized.When I get a chance I will put some pics up of mine.I hope there are some out there interested in this topic

depending the brands of locks you are selling...particularly the highsecurity models... most companies have display units and info kiosks available to display the toughness of the locks ect...

There was a thread about little things some shops do to increase their profit margins, like selling soda pop and drinks. There's also little things like fancy keyrings with people's names on them. I believe these things are refered to as "profit makers", and some of the online locksmith suppliers have whole catalogues of stuff like that you can buy.

Yeah we have all the key rings and clips all from LUCKYLINE. We also have Medeco display and as I understand the only one in the country. How about the layout of the shop and what do you foicus on most in yours ,we are trying to get away from the cheesy stuff and offer more security solutions for the customers .[color=darkblue][/color]

At my old shop, I found the addition of a nice fishtank in the waiting area was pretty inexpensive and was quite entertaining for customers who liked to wait. Also, free coffee and popcorn machines were always a hit for a waiting customer and don't really cost squat.

The free coffee is just about mandatory around here. A local chain of tire stores started giving free popcorn and coffee in the waiting room, and it seems to have spread to every service type business in the Northwest US (except WalMart.)

Free coffee Heck last time i went to this lockie shop i always go to I almost bailed on a safe and random things on the floor there messy, but have customers in counties near and far

In the Evanston Wyoming wal-mart they have free coffee, I don't know about here in Utah cause I don't shop at walmart here

Well free coffee if you using the lube or tire service
