Now that I re-read it I can see that you said vending, not tubular. My bad. I just think it's wierd that if he had done a little research he could have come here and found all the information he needed. People that might have a legitimate issue and request, get flamed and told that there $50 shouldn't matter to them, by some people. Others request proof and are then willing to be helpful, which is the way I think it should be handled.
Does this mean you will knock your mate charles off his high horse and suggest he actually reads the thread a bit better?
We have user X with 1 post asking to open machine Y with type Z lock, if this was a general question made in another way then the responce would be differant but as it stands, as always, the OP has been asked for proof and his absence shows we were most likely right in that hes up to no good, some of us have seen it all before and got the t shirt etc,

X_Matt_X, the guy was asked for proof of ownership a number of times and given the reasons why.
if he gave the proof then he would have been told how to open/remove the lock in a PM from a mod.
believe it or not, some people do ask these questions intending to use the information for criminal activity.
as for him not returning to the site, maybe he's still trying to catch that poor squirrel
