It occurred to me, but I think more likely he got linked here from totse and company. It's a pretty good imitation if it is a troll.

You know i tend to agree with you bro, I atually browsed that place once when some made a comment, Just go to totse witht he rest of the pieces of (insert word).

I have never seen a more interesting place, not because of intelegence, but the mass of crap to just read, laugh, and have you name registered under the FBI watch program!

very welocming, no only am i accused of stealing by my parents then by you all. then im accused repeatedly of intent to steal (which, if you look i never said i intended to do or would do willingly).

then im threatened with banning on my 2nd day because i started a thread that might help me to acctualy get of the ground with my new hobby.

besides, what is a troll? and realy, im not trying to "screw" with anyone. im just trying to find a hobby that might generate some money over the summer. i was going to try and become some sort of locksmith, you know, put ads up and poeple call u if they have lost their house keys.

and whats more, what right have you to abuse and threaten me for having a joke on my own account. i'm not hurting anyone by putting stuff of my account that i have on all my accounts.

-Im pretty sure you'd have to be licensed to do what you want.
-Locksmithing involves more than just picking house locks.
-I think you have to have some sort of credibility to do jobs (ie, age being a factor).

It really isn't a desk job- and working in the shop before you go out into the field will help you quite a bit. Plus, the other coworkers who have been in this for a while will be an invaluable resource for you when you have the "How does this work" or "What do I do when such and such happens..." type questions.

Just gotta start out small, crawl before you walk, that sort of crap. Maybe try asking a local locksmith if you can do some work experience with them, or just ask around and see how others got into the business.

You know why it sucks so bad to be innocent of false accusations? Because the innocent and the quilty say essentially the exact same things.

I'll give you enough benifit of the doubt to say, once again, your image is FUBAR. You can fight an uphill battle and try to fix it, or you can start fresh with a new account and this time, expect your posts to be scrutinized for intention, and give a full explaination BEFORE there is a misinterpretation.

First impressions matter, the other poster I can think of who mentioned in passing unspecified sources of bike spokes, also talked about "liberating" hacksaw blades from the hardware store. He stuck around for months afterward, but I don't remember him ever being well recieved.

Hand cuff escapes are another topic that people seem to draw negative attention to themselves through.

It's pretty hard to garner any credibility with statements like that. Here's a hint: If *everybody* accuses you of stealing, or intending to steal, perhaps you need to take a step back and wonder what it is about what you say and do that gives people that impression.

Credibility is earned, not an entitlement. You start with none of it and work your way up. And when you start out acting like you deserve it, it's even harder to gain it.

Not to mention there's been a whole host of things you've said that appear shady at best, you had the same post removed twice because it broke the rules, and in general, your attitude is a little off-putting.

Does that perhaps help explain why you've gotten the reaction you have?

Ok.. now I gotta actually give the guy some credit. I basically blasted him in public and rather than get defensive or arrogant (which, to be honest, I expected), he responded politely and respectfully.
