I WORK FOR A BANK THAT DOES MANY REKEYS. I AM A ROOKIE PICKER. DEADBOLTS ARE ARE TOUGH TO GET PAST. WE DRILL THEM OUT MOST OF THE TIME. BUT THAT TAKES A COUPLE MINUTE AND MAKES A BIG MESS. I'M JUST LOOKING FOR THE EASIEST WAY TO GET IT OUT.

PICK THE LOCK WOULD BE THE EASIEST, YOU JUST NEED TO LEARN HOW TO DO IT OR PRACTICE WHAT YOU KNOW.

I think quickpicks is right, this guy sounds a little too eager to learn about one specific type of locks to be wanting to be a legitimate hobbiest.

i don't know of any bank where they need to drill out deadbolts all the time. easiest thing to do would be to keep an extra copy of your keys somewhere safe.

wow how often do you lose keys? or in a bank how often does every person with a set of keys (Ide guess at LEAST 4 people with sets) simultaneously lose them. still if you and co workers are some how doing this on a regular basis picking probably wouldn't be a viable option unless u get real good real fast. banks are going to be using good locks. in fact im amazed u can drill through them in a couple of minutes.

All the best

and you would think that the organization in a bank would be amazing. do you realllllly want to get past them for good reason  do people not take the time to read things like DBs guide? Tis a sad day.

that's easy, you turn the control key 15 degrees to the left and pull out the core. duh..

=)

ps. are you typing your email on a 40 column computer? like an Altair or a VIC 40 or something cool where you can only use Caps-Lock?

i just cant imagine most banks using them over more secure locks. but i could be wrong. not sure about anyone else but i got hold of a SFIC that hadn't been opened with the control key in a long time. i woudl rake the thing open in seconds or SPP it open very quickly. based on that ide never used them in a high security environment.
