locksmith in BC

ok i am looking into becoming an apprentice. but i was also wondering what is needed to become a locksmith in B.C (license, certificate... etc). i searched but only could find one specific thing getting talk about, so i'm looking for a list of every thing i need. thanks for your help.

You need a pick licence to carry picks in B.C., So make sure you get one or you could get into some trouble. You don't need any certificates, but they can sure help you in getting hired. (proof you have taken a course).

If you are going to open your own business and do freelance work than you will need a business lisence. Not sure how to get a pick lisence, just phone a local lockie and ask him. I'm sure it's not hard to do.
