That's a Kaba Simples L1000 with IC over ride.

You will have to pick the control shear line to remove the core.

To figure out the combo, you will have to disassemble the front half of the lock and remove the combo chamber.

Then there is a procedure for disassembling the combo chamber to reset the combo to factory, then you can change the combo yourself with another procedure.

These are a real PITA to do if the combo is lost. You can call Kaba Ilco and they can fas the procedure to you for resetting the combo chamber.

Usually the clutch takes a crap on these making them useless.

New combo chambers are about $40 wholesale.

I've seen the procedures on line, but can not remember where. Just google Simplex Combo chamber reset and you should be able to come up with something.

Determining the combination a really simple once you have it apart , look for the notches in the wheel the farthest one or ones ( since you can press more than 1 button at a time ) are the first digits of your combination. when the proper sequence is entered all of the notches will line up with the prongs of the fence.
When you need to restart the combination you will need to turn the shaft so that the wheels reset to their starting position

I've got the service manual. Shoot me a PM if you want a scan of it.

Maxxed is right. All you need to do is line up the gates in the combo wheels with the notch to input the combination. So take a wrench to the change key tube (or pick the cylinder if it came with it), input the old combination. Pull the handle. Input your new combination. Pull the handle.

Install it on your front door. You'll have the fanciest lock in your neighborhood.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture
