Nice one, its a great feeling. but if your serious at all about the hobby invest in some picks. atm iv got my Southord set (www.southord.com) but im seriously considering the Peterson just picks set. as its a lot cheaper than i thought it would be. Southord are your cheapest bet and are great picks though.

all the best, and welcome to the mad house

You can buy picks, but it deppends where are you from...read the laws first....or ask a lawyer if lockpicking is legal where you are.

well, since you live in BC, the only way to do so would to become a licensed locksmith or locksmith in training... as you are required BY LAW to have a pick license in BC

Yes you can.But if lockpicking isn't legal there you can't buy picks. So you have to make them.Sounds hard, but it's fun.You can make picks from everything. But you should stay in your room with that picks.

Aww, i was planning on ordering picks from somewhere cause like i am no where near to having the skill level to make them.

Anyways if i were to make picks i read everywhere that you guys use hacksaw blades. Any tips on length, certain types of picks, methods in making them? That would be greatly appreciated. Oh and how do i go about making a tension wrench.

Thanks.

Here are the templates. You print them and after that, you stick them to the hacksaw blade and you use a grinder to make them.

Also read the LSI Guide. And don't forget to search.
