Hey Europe: We have lever locks now too!

So I was in Target looked at the padlocks when I saw this little treasure. It is now the only lever lock in my collection. It looks straight off a pirate ship, and it is Master nevertheless

. According to the box it is in the "Antique Style for Old World Charm." I bought one before they are discontinued. Here are some Pictures:

I'm sure this is just a novelty item from master's standpoint, just want to make extra sales with something that looks charming. :roll:

Not really, like all masters it looks stronger than it is. Chubb do a nice version with 5 or 7 levers if i remember.

lockedin, If you don't mind me asking, how much was the price for that little treasure?

The nearest Target to isn't that close, so I would like to know if the price is worth the trip. I just got back from Wal-Mart and I didn't see any of those their, so unless anyone you or anyone else knows of another place to get one I think Target is the only option.

Thats not a 2 lever, the key is only used from one side of the lock so all cuts other than the bolt thrower are lever cuts,

Im guessing its a 4 and possably even a 5 lever,

No its a Master thats made in the original style, theres loads of locks the same but with differant names on, inside they may be a differant story,

Had to mention this as assumeing a lock is the same as another because it looks simular will catch you out one day,

Thanks for the advice, i was convinced it was Squire, not just from the look of it but the key blank is identical.
As we all know lots of locks are made in the same factory and branded differently.
But i understand what you are saying it wouldn't be the first time i turned a simple job into a nightmare.
