It always amazes me the effort some people go to when making picks. it must be such a satisfying feeling when you can step back and look at a set that size and say "Yep, I made all that from scratch".
I like how uve colour coded it as well. i do the same thing but Just Red and Black between Standard and slimline picks.
Great Job, Something you should be proud of.
All the best.

You should try using heat shrink for the handles. I use to use tape but i have just recently started to use heat shrink. I will never go back to tape now heat shrink is the FUTURE!

But heatshrink moves when you are picking, whilst electrical tape moves only slightly when picking.
I use two layers of heatshrink, which is probably the cause of this, but it is a limitation that you don't get with tape.

p.s. I really like the rolls you have made, I've got some being done for me along similar lines, but not leather, as the moisture and chemicals can rust steel a lot faster than normal.

No I am the one who would like to get some nice steel (best would be moly-steel ) to make my own picks.
I live in Germany so I need a store at least in Europ.
I heared that there is something like a liquid handel maker.
That should be a kind of liquid that you can use as a paint. But in stead of a simple colour it gives you a rubber layer which is a very nice grip.
Does anybody has experiences with this thing ore know where to buy it?

Great picks. You must have spent ages grinding them. Can you tell us what material they are from (is it hacksaw blade?). Did you have some real ones for comparison, or some photos to go by? They are very professional looking.
