I can tell you with 100% certainty it is made from a tire tread depth gauge and probably a spring from a mouse trap. I've been meaning to whip up one of these myself but haven't gotten around to it yet. You can buy the tread depth gauge at walmart in the automotive section for 2 or 3 bucks.

Could you please do a couple of things for me,

1) Post such things in the thread you see them
2) Give credit to where the image came from ie posters name and the thread it came from,


Is there any control on this? can it be set and then let go to spin?

Im not sure how if it does, f it doesnt its not much use,

I am not sure what that one is made of... but if you are thinking of making one i got an idea here.. I made it about a couple moths ago and it has not failed me yet..

very simple

mouse trap spring and some coat hanger wire.

what do you think?

Looks alright,

Maybe put a slight angle on each edge of the blade so it fits more keyways,

It's a tire tread depth guage, that is modified with drilled holes and a spring.
