I've found i can open locks pretty easily when im sitting on my couch and picking them the way i want to pick, but locks in the real world aren't exactly in the right position that u want them to be.
holding a deadbolt lock in my hand is easy to pick but opening a deadbolt on a door while your kneeling down and have to hold the picks differently puts a lot more challenge into it.
so for all those starting out who can easily pick different locks before you buy another to try and pick first master the ones you have by picking them at different angles, just by flipping the keyway upside down can make it harder.
